About ballroom dance bozeman

Ballroom Dance Bozeman (BDB) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the community through ballroom dancing. Our volunteer board of directors serves to organize regular dance events, providing many opportunities to learn and grow in ballroom dancing. According to the famous Einstein study and the follow-up study at Stanford University, ballroom dancing is the best activity for staving off cognitive decline. (In other words, its fantastic for body AND mind!)

All of our dances offer a wide variety of musical styles, including smooth and standard dances such as foxtrot, waltz, Viennese waltz, quickstep, and tango; rhythm and Latin dances such as rumba, cha cha cha, east coast swing, salsa, and samba; and club dances such as nightclub two-step and west coast swing.

Please bring a change of shoes so the shoes you wear in the parking lot are not the same as those you wear on the dance floor.

You don’t need to be an expert dancer to enjoy our dances. Everyone who loves to dance is welcome. Couples and singles—no partner needed.

Buy a season pass or join us at individual dances whenever you can!

Check our Events page for this season’s schedule.

It is understood that dancing is a contact activity and BDB assumes no responsibility for a person’s choice to attend a dance. BDB is not liable for dance cancellations caused by forces outside BDB’s control. BDB may not refund season pass purchases.
